Happy Halloween!

Moldy sandwitches (ha ha, a little Halloween play on words), edible spiders, apples with Ogre snot, rotten bananas, and a wee bit of poison to wash it all down.

Tyler really wasn't convinced he wanted a sandwitch.

But Kaylee sure liked the poison.
Kam liked pulling the legs off the spiders before eating them.
Food not withstanding, we did have a very fun dinner.

Let's go! Kaylee the horse, of course. Tyler was a ninja, and Kamden was a skelepumpkin.

This is where it gets good.
Everyones in on the action.
We had to mix-n-match with Kam's costume this year, as he screamed & cried when we tried to put other outfits on him.
Kaylee was a horse.
Candy!

Kaylee helped grandma dress like a mummy.

The next morning...
We had more fun.

Tyler's pumpkin.
Kaylee's pumpkin.
Wait, when did they put their costumes back on?

The New Photographer

Kamden picked up Melissa's new camera and then figured out how to turn it on and take pictures.

The learning process:

(On a side note, Kam fell just before these pictures were taken and smacked his mouth pretty hard on the floor. Hence the tongue in most of these photos.)

And the results:

He almost got his face.

There's aunt Sarah.

And crazy uncle Ryan.

Almost got mom.

There's grandma.

And mom.

Dad's expressive knee.

Grandma again.

Mom's forehead.

Now he gets fancy.

Wow, special effects.

If you wrestle with Kamden and give him ice cream, you can easily become friends.

Trucks & Tractors

Kamden loves trucks & tractors, especially construction equipment.

A quick trip to the beach

We left Eugene with sunny weather in the 70s. Ten miles from Florence we hit fog and the temperature dropped 10 degrees. Still, neither wind nor rain, so we were game. While the weather doesn't look so great in the pictures, we still had a wonderful time.

View up the beach.
View down the beach.

Playful Kamden

Kamden has really been into his blocks lately. Especially the blue blocks. We find little piles of blue blocks all around the house.
This picture was taken just before he really latched onto blue.

Kam has also taken interest in letters again, so we made him a letter line.

The flash was too bright for Kamden, but I'm sure you figured that out while watching the video.

Kam has been very entertaining lately, and keeps us smiling with his antics.

Traveling Ticklebarrow

Wheelbarrow is unimaginative and inaccurate. We will call ours a Travel Ticklebarrow.

Happy Birthday Kamden!

This was taken on Kam's actual birthday, as opposed to the rest of the pictures, which were taken on the day of his party.
Kam loves his doggy balloon.

New books!
And his favorite: Hop Hops!
He really does love these little rabbit shaped crackers.
Great Grandma & Grandpa came over early and Kam showed them his trucks.
He then opened some very fun beach toys. We can't wait to try them out.
Here Kam eats with friends Hunter & Carter.

There was an old lady who swallowed a ...

Kam loves blowing out candles. We practiced and practiced and he still couldn't get enough.
Tyler wanted to make sure I knew he was eating his cupcake.
Speaking of cupcakes, they were nearly the highlight of the day as far as Kam was concerned.

Ummmmmmmm...Chocolate.
What could it be?
A Sock Monkey!

Water Guns!
A Red Wheel Barrow!
A Dump Truck with Flames!

An even bigger Dump Truck!
His very own rake & shovel!
Decisions, decisions, decisions. Talk about stuck between toys and a cupcake.
Kaylee had a birthday near the same time and saved some toys to open with Kamden.
I think she likes it.
Tyler plays with a balloon powered race car.
Hunter & Carter discover that other peoples toys are always lots of fun.
Kam thinks its very silly to run and fall in the grass.
Hunter takes a turn with the wheel barrow.
Kam really likes his trucks.

Now it's Carter's turn.

Now Kam takes a turn.

Then I show him how it's really supposed to be used!

Carter shows us just what the load capacity of the big dump truck is.
Driver's take your mark...
Looks like Kam's off to an early lead.

We're finding that Kamden is a very saftey minded, cautious little boy.

Sidewalk chalk!
Bubbles!

Math problems at a party! Thanks a lot aunt Missy.

Here's uncle Ryan showing the kids the proper way to misbehave. That would be a homicide outline he's drawing. It was complete with a smoking gun & pools of blood.
Uncle Ryan may be the youngest kid at the party.
Another cupcake. This might be the one Kam swipped off the counter when no one was looking.
